Pesantren Ibnu Taimiyah Bogor pada Tahun Pembelajaran 2023\/2024 menyelenggarakan ekstrakurikuler bela diri. Ekskul ini dikhususkan bagi santri tingkat MTs kelas 7 dan 8. Waktu pelaksanaan ekskul adalah setiap hari Selasa dan Kamis. Santri kelas 7 melaksanakan kegiatan ini pada hari Selasa sedangkan santri kelas 8 pada hari Kamis.<\/p>

Tempat ekstrakurikuler yang diampu oleh Ust. Abraidi Haajaru Aqsha ini dipusatkan di lapangan MI Ibnu Taimiyah. Setiap kali latihan, semua peserta ekskul bela diri menggunakan seragam olahraga.\u00a0 Kegiatan ekskul untuk melatih mental dan fisik para santri ini dimulai pukul 16.00 sampai dengan 17.00 WIB.<\/p>

Peserta ekskul bela diri berjumlah\u00a0 80 santri. Sebagian dari kelas 7 dan sebagian dari kelas 8 MTs Ibnu Taimiyyah. Ekskul ini bertujuan untuk membimbing dan mengajarkan santri-santri cara olahraga bela diri dengan baik dan benar. Santri peserta eksul beladiri diharapkan dapat memahami dan mempraktikkan teori beladiri yang baik dan benar. Berbekal kemampuan bela diri, santri juga dapat membela diri ketika terjadi bahaya yang mengancam.<\/p>

\u201cEkskul ini berguna dan bermanfaat untuk melatih gerakan anggota badan dan melatih diri kita untuk membela diri ketika terjadi kekerasan,\u201d jelas Ust. Aqsha, pelatih beladiri yang juga Kepala Bidang Umum Pesantren Ibnu Taimiyah ini. [Editor: TTM]<\/p>
